Jay-Z to hold his own music festival

May 05, 2012
Jay-Z announced plans to hold his own music festival later this year. Titled Budweiser Made In America, it will take place in Philadelphia on September 1 and 2. Rapper did not reveal the line-up yet, saying only that he wants to invite "rock, hip-hop, R&B, Latin and dance" acts.

Jay-Z also claimed that he will ask Barack Obama to visit the festival. "I'm gonna give him a call and I'm gonna try to get him to perform – but I doubt it. I think that opens up the political season. He'll be so far into helping the world that he probably won't have time, but I'm absolutely going to ask him", said he.

Recently Jay-Z claimed that he and Kanye West may record another joint album in 2012, the follow-up to last year's Watch The Throne. According to the rapper, they will work together for sure – he just can not tell if it is supposed to be this year or later.

"We – I say "we" because I'm in Watch The Throne mode – we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay-Z, then Kanye and a Watch The Throne album this year… We really found our zone", claimed he.
