Jay-Z is "incredibly happy" to work with Kanye West

Jay-Z claimed that his recent collaboration with Kanye West has made him "incredibly happy". Two rappers are set to release a joint album, and, according to Jay-Z, the work on the new record was a great experience for him.

"Kanye West is one of the best in our business. He has great talent, great passion, great ambition. You feel alive when you stand by such guys. I am incredibly happy to work in one studio with him", claimed Jay-Z.

Earlier Kanye West claimed that they have already recorded five songs, but have made a short break recently.

Jay-Z is featured on Kanye West's upcoming album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, along with La Roux's Elly Jackson, MIA, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Bon Iver, No ID and others.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is set to hit the stores on November 22, as well as Jay-Z's new compilation album which is set to feature rapper's greatest hits. Titled The Hits Collection Volume 1, it is set to hit the stores on November 22. The tracklist will include 14 songs, ranging from old hits such as 99 Problems, Big Pimpin and Dirt Off Your Shoulder, to most recent tracks, including Rihanna and Kanye West collaboration Run This Town.
