Jay-Z and Eminem will release their own DJ Hero videogame

A special edition of DJ Hero videogame is set to be released by Jay-Z and Eminem. Alongside with the game itself it will feature a double-CD containing unreleased songs by both artists. It will also include branded turntable controller.

This package will come under the title DJ Hero: Renegade, named after rapper’s collaborative single released in 2001.

DJ Hero is a music videogame developed by the creators of Guitar Hero. However, it uses turntable controller instead of the guitar and focuses on hip-hop music, featuring songs by such artists as Gorillaz, Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent and others.

In June Both Jay-Z and Eminem performed at the special show devoted to t DJ Hero videogame. Jay-Z played a number of old hits such as 99 Problems, Jigga What, Jigga Who? and H To The Izzo, as well as a new song My President Is Black which praised US president Barack Obama.

Eminem took stage after Jay-Z to perform some tracks from his recent album Relapse, including 3 A.M. and We Made You. Two rappers also performed Renegade together.
