Jay-Z and Alicia Keys will perform together

Upcoming BRIT Awards ceremony will feature a duo by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Together they will perform Empire State Of Mind, the track which they originally recorded in 2009 and which was later included both in Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3 and Alicia Keys’ record The Element Of Freedom.

Ged Doherty, Chairman of the BRITs organizing committee, claimed that it was his idea to ask singers to perform together: «Alicia Keys is a fantastic addition to the show. I can't wait to see her and Jay-Z perform one of the biggest songs of the year».

The ceremony will take place on February 16 in London. It will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Kasabian, Cheryl Cole, Lily Allen and Robbie Williams, who is set to receive Lifetime Achievement award.

It is also set to feature special appearance by Prince Harry. He will not appear live at the ceremony, but has already recorded a special video message, in which he praises the ceremony and the charity provided by its organizers.
