Kings Of Leon bassist Jared Followill claimed that he was very upset with the decision to cancel the band's recent tour. Musician also said that he had nothing to do with the ongoing situation.

Kings Of Leon have canceled two gigs in a row – after abandonment of a show in Dallas on Friday, July 29, they have put off the performance in Houston, that was scheduled on July 30. On Friday, Kings Of Leon's concert was stopped after apparently drunk singer Caleb Followill told the fans he needed to "vomit and grab another beer", and left the stage.

On Monday, August 1, it was announced that all upcoming shows are canceled.

The official statement said: "We are so sorry to say Kings Of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take a break".

Jared Followill said that he was surprised with this announcement. In his blog he posted a video of him attacking a punching bag, adding a message: "They told me the news about the tour in the gym. This is how I felt. I am utterly depressed".

Kings Of Leon were on tour in support of their last studio effort Come Around Sundown.
