Jamie Hewlett revealed details about Gorillaz creation

Artist Jamie Hewlett, who collaborated with Blur frontman Damon Albarn to create band Gorillaz, explained why they decided to invent animated musicians.

"Me and Damon hated each other at first. But then, for some reasons, we decided to get a flat together", said he.

Recently Damon Albarn claimed that he has started the work on his first solo album. Singer did not reveal any details about it, only stating that upcoming records will be heavily based on synthesizers sound.

Gorillaz creator claimed: "This week we're doing some kind of record under my name. I suppose you could call it a solo record, but I don't like that word. It sounds very lonely - solo. I don't really want to be solo in my life. But yeah, I'm making another record".
