Jack White's new band is recording its second album
Oct 10, 2009«In between now and Christmas I'm going to go back to White's studio in Nashville at some point. Our songs sound great. I really like them. We've been playing three or four of them onstage», said she.
The Dead Weather band was formed in spring 2009. Apart from The White Stripes’ Jack White and The Kills' Alison Mosshart, it also features musicians from White’s other band The Raconteurs and Queens Of The Stone Age. The Dead Weather’s debut album Horehound hit the stores in July 2009 and became highly successful.
Alison Mosshart claimed she was surprised by the band’s achievements: «The last year has been incredible. I never knew it was going to go like this. We never planned to be a band. Certainly I didn't think we'd be so busy and that things would go so well».
