NEWS07.04.2009 Jack White's new band is ready for debut show The Dead Weather, new band founded by The White Stripes' Jack White and The Kills' Alison Mosshart, announced its first concert that will take place in New York next week. Month ago, The Dead Weather performed a private gig in Nashville in Third Man Records studio, but New York gig will be their first show for the public.
The Dead Weather also features musicians from White’s other band The Raconteurs and Queens Of The Stone Age. The band is going to release their first album Horehound this June. It will also feature a cover of Gary Numan's song Are Friends Electric? The first single from it, titled Hang You From The Heavens, was premiered on March 12.
