Jack White will work together with Wanda Jackson

The White Stripes’ Jack White is set to produce new album by Wanda Jackson, legendary American rockabilly singer and Elvis Presley's girlfriend. Jackson said that she was looking forward to work with White. Singer claimed she hoped that their album would be as successful as 2004’s record Van Lear Rose by country singer Loretta Lynn, also produced by Jack White.

«They had a super album, but he didn't have her do anything different, you know. But White told me he's gonna stretch me some, so we'll see», said she.

At his turn, The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs frontman claimed he was a huge fan of Wanda Jackson.

Wanda Jackson is known as one of the first popular female rockabilly and country singers. The list of her hits includes such songs as Tears Will Be The Chaser For Your Wine, A Woman Lives For Love and Fancy Satin Pillows.
