Jack White will reunite The White Stripes only for money

Mar 03, 2012
Former The White Stripes frontman Jack White claimed that he has no intention to resurrect the band in future. According to his words, he will reunite with his former partner Meg White only because of emergency situation – for example, if they both go bankrupt.

Asked about possible reunion, he said: "I would probably say absolutely not. Absolutely no chance. I couldn't see any reason to ever do that. If we were forced to change our mind about that, I can only imagine the reason being if we went bankrupt or really needed the cash, which would be a really sad thing. I would probably be issuing an apology along with the announcement of the show dates".

Recently Jack White revealed details concerning his debut studio effort. According to his words, the album – titled Blunderbuss – will hit the stores in April and feature 13 tracks, including earlier released single Love Interruption.
