Hugh Laurie will collaborate with Meat Loaf on his album
Feb 02, 2010Meat Loaf has invited famous actor Hugh Laurie to take part in the recording of his new album. According to Loaf’s statement, Laurie will play piano on one of the tracks for upcoming record.
The actor is mostly known for his role of Dr. Gregory House in British TV series House. However, he has starred in several music videos too – for example, in a clip for Kate Bush’s single Experiment IV or for Annie Lennox’s song Walking On Broken Glass.
Meat Loaf’s upcoming album is titled Hang Cool Teddy Bear and is scheduled to hit the stores on April 22. It is a concept record, based on a short story by Killian Kerwin, which in its turn tells about a man wounded in a war. Apart from Laurie, upcoming record will also feature Queen’s Brian May, Jack Black, The Darkness’ Just Hawkins and Steve Vai.
Meat Loaf’s previous album Tiger Force Forever: Unleashed hit the stores in 2009.
