Hot Chip's new album to feature Buddhist monks

Hot Chip revealed that their next studio effort will feature Buddhist chanting monks. The band's guitarist Al Doyle claimed that recording with them has been a very pleasant experience: "We're really happy with how it's going. We're trying to build up a good batch of songs before we get too excited about finishing the album".

He added that the album is almost ready: "Hot Chip album update: we have one more song to record then we have enough songs and we're gonna stop. Cannot wait to play them to you all".

Hot Chip released their previous record One Life Stand in 2010.
