Hot Chip are against giving music away for free

Hot Chip have said the likes of Radiohead,Coldplay, The Charlatans and Nine Inch Nails are destroying the music business by giving their music away for free. Singer Alexis Taylor stated that while for big artists giving away music for free is a good thing, the same cannot be said for the smaller acts.

He also said: «I believe the music industry is in turmoil and the record companies are really searching for a new way to do business».
