Hillary Clinton turned out to be a relative of Celine Dion and Madonna

Researchers at the New England Historic Genealogical Society found some remarkable family connections for the US presidential candidates. For example, Democratic Hillary Clinton turned out to be a distant cousin of singers Madonna, Celine Dion and Alanis Morissette.

Her rival Barack Obama, son of a white woman from Kansas and a black man from Kenya, is a distant relative of actor Brad Pitt and many American politicians, including George Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson and Harry Truman.
