Jan 01, 2012Original line-up of British alternative rock band Happy Mondays has reunited for the tour across UK. Musicians are already rehearsing in the studio and will hit the road in May.
Talking about upcoming shows, backing singer Rowetta Satchell said: "We want to put on a really good shows. We decided they would only be special and work if it was the total, original line-up. We're all really excited. They are my family these boys, I've really missed them and I'm sure they've missed each other".
Happy Mondays formed in 1980, but became famous in late 80's – early 90's as a part of so called "Manchester rock wave" of British music. Their most successful albums include Squirrel And G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out) (1987), Bummed (1988) and Pills 'n' Thrills And Bellyaches (1990).
