Guns N' Roses to be inducted into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

The list of artists set to be inducted into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year was announced. It features Guns N' Roses and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as The Faces and Beastie Boys.

Former The Faces frontman Rod Stewart claimed that he would join his bandmates at the ceremony that is scheduled for April 2012. Ex-The Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante also expressed desire to reunite with his band.

Earlier Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose claimed that the band might reunite in the nearest future, but only on one condition: if Guns N' Roses are invited to be inducted into the Rock N'Roll Hall Of Fame.

Talking about relationships with Slash and others, he said: "Elton John asked me to induct him. I am very proud of that, still. I don't know what the nomination means in terms of me and the old band. I don't know - that is still all up in the air. It's an honor to be on the nomination and I know there is definitely an element of the fans that really like that".
