Green Day will release a single under somebody else's name?

The 1960s-sounding garage guitar group the Foxboro Hot Tubs announced that it is going to realese single Mother Mary and a full length album. Nobody has seen musicians yet, and the band is strongly rumoured to be Green Day in disguise.

The Foxboro Hot Tubs started to post songs online late last year, at the same time Green Day spoken about making an album in the same style as the mystery band. Additionally the band’s vocalist bears more than a passing similarity to Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong.
