Green Day to induct Guns N' Roses in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Green Day revealed that they have been invited to induct Guns N' Roses in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the upcoming ceremony that will take place on April 14 in Cleveland. They will share their roll with Chris Rock (who will induct The Red Hot Chili Peppers), Public Enemy's Chuck D (Beastie Boys), ZZ Top (Freddie King) and so on.

Meanwhile, original Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum claimed that he may join forces with Slash to perform at the ceremony. At the same time, he said that the band's guitarist Izzy Stradli will not be at the event.

"I offered Slash that we could play maybe, but I haven't heard back if he wants to do it or not. Slash's answer to me was that he spoke to Izzy, and Izzy wasn't planning on coming. So I think that was like, if Izzy's not going to come and it's not all the original guys, then it doesn't make sense", said he.

Recently ex-Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan revealed that he still cannot tell for sure if members of the band's original line-up can reunite to perform during their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

"I think it would be killer. Do I hope to? That's a tricky question. It would be awesome. You have those day dreams like, we'll go up and play Nightrain and Brownstone and throw down the microphone and drop off! That'll be killer! But I doubt that'll happen", said McKagan.
