Green Day spoke about new album
Dec 12, 2008Green Day's leader Billie Joe Armstrong spoke about the band’s upcoming album that the band is going to release next year. He said that new record would be influenced by such bands as The Creation, The Who, The Beatles, Cheap Trick and The Jam.
«I'm pushing myself to be progressive in songwriting and being a songwriter», said Armstrong, adding that new disk will take pop direction.
Yet-untitled disk will be produced by Butch Vig, who worked on Nirvana’s album Nevermind in 1991.
