Green Day announced three new albums

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong revealed that the band is going to release three new albums in a row. The records are titled ¡UNO!, ¡DOS! and ¡TRE!. Two of them will hit the stores this autumn, while the last one is set to be released in January 2013.

"Ok. Here's the deal. We're making a 3 album trilogy. Not 1. Not 2. But 3 albums. Called ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRE!. Coming September, November, January", says message on his Twitter account.

Green Day frontman did not reveal if these albums are somehow connected with each other.

Recently Green Day revealed that they have been invited to induct Guns N' Roses in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the upcoming ceremony that will take place on April 14 in Cleveland. They will share their roll with Chris Rock (who will induct The Red Hot Chili Peppers), Public Enemy's Chuck D (Beastie Boys), ZZ Top (Freddie King) and so on.
