May 05, 2010Legendary rock musician Lou Reed may perform together with Gorillaz during their headline appearance at the Glastonbury festival next month. Blur’s Damon Albarn, the creator of the cartoon band, claimed that he would like to join forces with Reed.
«I just hope we can convince Lou Reed and he grasps that it's a real privilege to get the chance to do it. Then we'd have a complete house and that really would be amazing», said he.
Lou Reed is featured on Gorillaz last to date album Plastic Beach – he contributed vocals for the track Some Kind Of Nature.
