Goldfrapp to release best hits compilation

Goldfrapp announced plans to release best hits album next year. Titled The Singles, it will hit the stores in the beginning of February 2012 and feature 12 songs representing the band's whole career.

In addition, it will also include two new tracks – Yellow Halo and Melancholy Sky. Both of them are set to be released as singles prior to the album.

Goldfrapp was founded in London, England, in 1999. During 12 years the band released five albums – Felt Mountain (2000), Black Cherry (2003), Supernature (2005), Seventh Tree (2008) and Head First (2010).
