Glasvegas are surprised with their album success

Glasvegas revealead that they had not expected their self-titled debut album to become so successful. New disk has got second place in the UK album charts, beaten only by Metallica’s album Death Magnetic.

Glasvegas frontman James Allan said: «I was surprised at how many it was selling. But I knew Metallica were going to bring out an album in the same week».

«I'm so proud of everybody who has been with the band, and the band themselves. Early on, some people thought we were a joke», he added.
