Glastonbury organizer disagreed with Oasis frontman about Jay-Z

Glastonbury Festival organizer Michael Eavis has hit out at Noel Gallagher’s criticism on inviting Jay-Z as a headliner at the event. Oasis frontman said that it was wrong to let hip hop star perform at the rock festival.

Eavis said that Gallagher shouldn’t have made public attack on Jay-Z: «Why did he need to get involved? It was a bit weird, to be honest. He should give someone else a chance. He needn’t have said that and I was disappointed he did. Gallagher said it’s a place for guitar bands – but there are loads of guitar bands playing».
