Girls Aloud member to become Shrek's sweetheart
Aug 08, 2011It is expected that Kimberley Walsh will replace her in October. She did not announce how her involvement in musical will affect upcoming Girls Aloud reunion. The band's members are set to come together in 2012 to mark their 10-year anniversary with a tour.
According to the manager Hilary Shaw, Girls Aloud will go on tour across Great Britain. "Everybody wants them to make a comeback and it will be next year. Well, it is their tenth anniversary so there will be something", said Shaw.
Girls Aloud were put together in 2002 as a members of the TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals. The band has released five albums – Sound Of The Underground (2003), What Will The Neighbours Say? (2004), Chemistry (2005), Tangled Up (2007) and Out Of Control (2008). All of them achieved commercial success.
