Girls Aloud member feels disappointed with music industry
Dec 12, 2011Nicola Roberts, one of the five Girls Aloud members, claimed that she feels disappointed with modern music industry. Singer said that it is not "fun" anymore because it has become "serious and hardnosed".
"The fun has gone out of the pop industry. When we started out there were no camera phones clicking away. Then everything became so much more heightened. It became a different industry. It's too serious and hardnosed", claimed she.
According to manager Hilary Shaw, Girls Aloud will go on tour across Great Britain next year.
Girls Aloud were put together in 2002 as a members of the TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals. The band has released five albums – Sound Of The Underground (2003), What Will The Neighbours Say? (2004), Chemistry (2005), Tangled Up (2007) and Out Of Control (2008). All of them achieved commercial success.
