Garth Brooks overtakes Elvis in number of sold albums

The country singer Garth Brooks has become the best-selling solo artist in history, moving Elvis Presley to the second place. He has sold 123 million units in his career, beginning from his first disk Garth Brooks to his last work Scarecrow.

Brooks will improve his result with the upcoming album of his best songs The Ultimate Hits. The absolute leaders among the artists are The Beatles, who have sold 170 million albums.
