Franz Ferdinand fell in love with disko

Franz Ferdinand revealed that their new yet-untitled album wold be «wilder» and more «disco driven». «It was inspired by whatever was round about me», said the band’s frontman Alex Kapranos.

«The album has more of a dance floor sort of tempo. While the music is not necessarily disco music, it is around about that tempo and it makes you move in that kind of a way», he added.

The follow-up to the You Could Have It So Much Better will be out next January.
