Foo Fighters will release greatest hits compilation
Aug 08, 2009Foo Fighters announced that they would release a compilation album featuring the band’s best songs. Simply titled Greatest Hits, it will hit the stores on November 2 and feature such tracks as The Pretender, All My Life, Learn To Fly, Best Of You, Times Like These, My Hero, Everlong and others.
The compilation will also include two previously unreleased songs. The first one, named Word Forward, was recorded specially for compilation.
The second one is Wheels, the song which Foo Fighters premiered during a special concert at the White House in Washington D.C. on July 4. They played in front of the United States President Barack Obama, as well as Iraq military heroes and their families. After performing the old hits, Dave Grohl and his bandmates debuted Wheels, which they devoted to Obama.
Dave Grohl is currently working with Them Crooked Vultures band, which also features Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones. Together they are recording new album.
