Foo Fighters revealed samples of the songs from new album
Feb 02, 2011Foo Fighters unveiled some information about their upcoming studio album. Frontman Dave Grohl claimed that the record's release date has been set for April 11. He also explained that the record still got no name because band can not decide between two titles. The first one is Back + Forth (after one of the songs on the album), the second one was not revealed.
Ex-Nirvana drummer added that Foo Fighters have given fans an opportunity to hear samples of the songs from new album. You can listen to them on foofighters.fm.
In December Dave Grohl revealed that the record would feature his former Nirvana's bandmate Krist Novoselic, as well as famous producer Butch Vig, who worked on Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind.
"The last month and a half we've been in my garage recording totally old school analogue with Butch Vig. This whole project has been really cool because I haven't made a record with Butch in 20 years, almost exactly 20 years", said Dave Grohl.
Foo Fighters' previous studio effort, named Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, hit the stores in 2007.
