Foo Fighters are "very happy" to help Japan

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl claimed he was glad to have an opportunity to contribute to recently released Songs For Japan album. All money proceeded from its sales will be donated to help people who suffered from recent earthquakes in Japan.

"I am very happy we had an opportunity to play our role in all this. We are musicians, we can not heal people or rebuild their homes, but we can donate our songs to help them", said he.

Songs For Japan features Foo Fighters' song My Hero from 1997's album The Colour And The Shape. All in all it includes 38 tracks by such artists as Eminem, Lady GaGa, U2 and others.
