Florence And The Machine to perform at the Oscars

Florence And The Machine were announced to sing for Oscar nominees at the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony. They will join forces with Indian film composer AR Rahman to perform the song If I Rise from the 127 Hours soundtrack, the 2010's biographical adventure movie about mountain climber Aron Ralston.

The list of performers also features actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who will sing Coming Home song from her new movie Country Strong, as well as Mandy Moore and Randy Newman.

The soundtrack for The Social Network movie – which has been written by Nine Inch Nails' frontman Trent Reznor alongside with Atticus Ross – was nominated for in the Best Original Score category at this year's Oscars.

Earlier the film has won Golden Globe award for the Best Original Score.
