Feist has won Shortlist Music Prize award
Feb 02, 2008Canadian singer Feist has won the Shortlist Music Prize award for her album The Reminder. This award is given to the musicians who have sold less than 500,000 copies of their album during the year.
Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol and Ronnie Vannucci from The Killers were among this year's panel of judges. «Feist's The Reminder is the album of the year for 2007 or any year I can think of. It's modern and classic all at once», said Lightbody.
Feist also has two Grammy nominations – for best new artist and best pop vocal album.
