British football players prefer pop and R&B music, claimed Wolverhampton goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann. According to his words, most members of English Premier League clubs like such artists as «R Kelly or Lady GaGa».

«Most other players like a lot of the top 40 songs; pop, R&B, rap, stuff like that», said he.

However, according to Hahnemann, goalkeepers choose different kind of music. «Goalkeepers, though, are a different breed. My favorite bands for a while have been Tool, Slipknot and Machine Head, and I’d say Five Finger Death Punch too», claimed Hahnemann.

He also named former Tottenham and Fulham goalkeeper Kasey Keller and Reading’s Jamie Young among players who preferred metal music.
