Eminem announced that he would change the lyrics of several songs for the performance in Britain. US rapper is set to headline London's Wireless Festival next summer – it will be his first performance in UK for five years.

However, some of his songs were considered homophobic and generated protest from different gay rights protection organizations. A spokesperson for one of such organizations said: «He is free to express his views on gay people, as long as he stays off the violence and hatred. He has got plenty of other lyrics to choose from. In recent years he has become quite well-behaved».

Rapper said that he would change the homophobic lyrics to avoid «unnecessary problems».

Last week Eminem released Relapse: Refill – the reissue of his last studio album Relapse, which has hit the stores this spring. Record features seven entirely new songs, including composition Taking My Ball, earlier released as a track for DJ Hero videogame, and single Forever, recorded together with Drake, Lil Wayne and Kanye West.

Eminem’s upcoming album Relapse 2 is set to hit the stores next year.
