Eminem unveiled cover for Recovery album
May 05, 2010Recovery is set to hit the stores on June 22. It will feature Eminem’s collaborations with such artists as DJ Khalil, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin, Boi-1da and others.
According to the rapper’s words, Recovery is not the same record as earlier announced Relapse 2 album, the follow-up to his 2009’s disk Relapse. Speaking about correlation between these two records, he said: «I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year. But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album».
Jay-Z and Eminem recently revealed plans to perform two collaborative shows this autumn. First event will take place on September 2 in Detroit – Eminem’s hometown. The second gig is set to be performed on September 13 in New York – the city where Jay-Z comes from.
