Duran Duran video has been banned from U.K. television
Oct 10, 2007The new Duran Duran video has been banned from U.K. television after it was deemed too controversial. The reasons were not explained, but a long-awaited new material from the legendary pop-rock group will not be screened in Britain.
This video was a promo film for Falling Down, the first single and the video clip from the group’s upcoming album Red Carpet Massacre. It was shot to ensure the song gets some promotion.
A source that is close to Duran explained: «The band is really disappointed that the video won't be seen because the musicians believed it to be one of their finest yet. It's a shame because the film is stunning. It's very arty and dark».
