Details of Michael Jackson film were revealed

Sony Pictures announced details about its movie based on rehearsal footage for Michael Jackson's London residency. Titled This Is It, it will become a 150 minutes story about last days in singer’s life. The movie will feature digital sound and sequences filmed in 3-D.

Earlier it was said that the movie will include several videos that were created to be broadcasted during Michael Jackson’s concerts in London. One of these movies is an alternative version of Thriller presented in 3D format. This Is It will also feature interviews with Michael Jackson’s friends and collaborators.

It was also announced earlier that the movie will be produced by Kenny Ortega, director of High School Musical movie. However, yesterday Sony Pictures claimed that the movie will be produced by promoters of Michael Jackson's comeback shows, AEG Live.

This Is It is set to be premiered in October. The soundtrack for the movie will be released later as an album.
