Feb 02, 2012
Depeche Mode member Martin Gore revealed that in March the band will return in studio to work on its next studio effort. According to his words, they have started the record last year, but than have decided to take a break and finish it this spring.

He added that Depeche Mode want to release new album – first one since 2009's Sounds Of The Universe – in the end of this year.

During this pause Martin Gore has recorded an album Ssss with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke. "It was a nice break for me to be able to go and do something completely different that doesn't involve poring over lyrics and having to think about vocal melodies", claimed he.

Vince Clarke left Depeche Mode in 1981 and took part in such projects Yazoo, The Assembly and Erasure. Ssss is the first material in 30 years they recorded together.
