David Bowie will reissue a compilation of his favourite songs

David Bowie is going to reissue a compilation of his own favourite tracks titled iSELECT: BOWIE. Originally it appeared as a a giveaway with the Mail On Sunday newspaper, and on October 14 it will be released as an independent album.

The album will also feature Bowie’s comments about his songs. For example, he said about Lady Grinning Soul track: «It was written for a wonderful young girl whom I’ve not seen for more than 30 years. A song will put you tantalizingly close to the past, so close that you can almost reach out and touch it».
