Damon Albarn will continue working with Blur

Blur frontman Damon Albarn denied reports that the band's members will stop working together after this summer. Earlier singer claimed that Blur's upcoming gig at Hyde Park would be the best opportunity to finish their careers. However, according to his words, it does not mean they are actually going to do that.

"I don't know how we'll feel when we play Hyde Park. Some days I feel one way and other days I feel the other. If you don't see something as a career but as an important part of your life, you don't know how you're going to feel about it. We want to put on a great performance but nothing's been said between us about the beginning or the end", said he.

Damon Albarn added that he wants to go on with Gorillaz as well.

Recently Blur announced plans to reissue all their studio efforts as a single box set. Named 21, it is set to hit the stores this June. In addition to remastered versions of the album it will include 130 rarities and 65 entirely new songs recorded by the band in previous years but never officially released.

During their career Blur have recorded seven studio efforts – Leisure (1991), Modern Life Is Rubbish (1993), Parklife (1994), The Great Escape (1995), Blur (1997), 13 (1999) and Think Tank (2003).
