Damon Albarn contributed soundtrack for the children movie

Blur frontman Damon Albarn has finished the work on the score for upcoming movie The Boy In The Oak, which is based on the book of the same name. Published last year, it was written by Albarn's sister Jessica.

The book tells the story about the boy who got acquainted with fairies living in the enchanted oak behind his house and visited their land.

Earlier this week Damon Albarn denied reports that the Blur's members will stop working together after this summer. Earlier singer claimed that band's upcoming gig at Hyde Park would be the best opportunity to finish their careers. However, according to his words, it does not mean they are actually going to do that.

"I don't know how we'll feel when we play Hyde Park. Some days I feel one way and other days I feel the other. If you don't see something as a career but as an important part of your life, you don't know how you're going to feel about it. We want to put on a great performance but nothing's been said between us about the beginning or the end", said he.
