Daft Punk will work on music for Tron 2.0

Daft Punk are set to create the soundtrack for the forthcoming movie Tron 2.0, remake of 1982’s film Tron by Disney. The movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski, will feature such actors as Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett. It will be released in 2011.

Joseph Kosinski previously directed commercials for Gears Of War and Halo 3 videogames, as well as for Apple and others.

The soundtrack for Tron 2.0 will become Daft Punk’s first studio album since 2005's Human After All. It will also be the first full-length feature film score for Daft Punk.
