Daft Punk to release remix album

Daft Punk announced plans to release a compilation of remixes on tracks from their last album Tron: Legacy. Released last year, the record featured a soundtrack for the eponymous movie.

Remix compilation is set to hit the stores in April under the title Tron: Legacy R3CONFIGUR3D. It will feature tracks by such artists as Moby, Boys Noize and others.

Daft Punk also announced plans to release deluxe limited edition of Tron: Legacy. Also set to hit the stores in April, it will include two additional songs – Sea Of Simulation and Sunrise Prelude.

According to the band's members, during the work on Tron: Legacy they tried to distance themselves from electronic music, and even decided not to use synthesizers – all to make their music "timeless".
