NEWS14.03.2010 Daft Punk donated hand-made robots for auction Daft Punk are among the artists who donated to upcoming Crafts For A Cause charity auction. All proceeds from it will be donated to Artists For Peace And Justice organization, which is currently trying to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The auction features items made by artists themselves. For example, Daft Punk provided decorated and signed robots, while Bright Eyes’ guitarist Conor Oberst donated his painted guitar. The list of artists who take part in the auction also features Mark Ronson, Norah Jones and Kings Of Leon. It includes Hollywood film director Spike Jonze too. The auction will begin tomorrow, on March 15.
