Coldplay will join with Joy Division filmmaker

Coldplay are going to shoot a music video for the single Viva La Vida, a song from the band's forthcoming album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. Video will be directed by famous clipmaker Anton Corbijn, creator of the Control (biopic about Joy Division singer Ian Curtis).

Corbijn previously directed the video for the band's 2005 single Talk. «We're trying an experiment with him. It could be a disaster, but it could be OK», said Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Music video will be filmed on a Dutch beach.
