Coldplay announced the release of the new album
Feb 02, 2010Coldplay revealed that they were going to release new album in 2010. According to the band’s frontman Chris Martin, it is set to hit the stores on Christmas. Martin added that Coldplay were currently working in London’s studio which was rebuilt from church.
At the same time, Martin refused to announce any details about the album. According to his words, the band is taking all necessary measures to prevent the record from leaking online.
«There are only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files. Even we don't know how to do it. We couldn't even steal our own music at the moment. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to get into the building, and download it, and mix it», said he.
Martin added that Coldplay would renew their contract with record label EMI, which expires after the release of upcoming record.
Coldplay’s previous record Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends hit the stores on June 2008.
