Coldplay announced North American tour

Coldplay have announced a US and Canada tour to support the release of their upcoming album Viva La Vida. The tour will start with a show at New York's Madison Square Garden on June 23. It consists of two parts – Coldplay will tour in July and August returning in October and November for more gigs.

The band has unveiled a string of surprises around the release of their Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends album, including free show in London and a free vinyl version of single Violet Hill attached to the May issue of New Musical Express magazine.
