Christina Aguilera announced new album

Christina Aguilera revealed details about her new studio album. The record, titled Bionic, is set to hit the stores on June 7. It will feature a great number of collaborations with such artists as electronic bands Le Tigre and Ladytron or Australian pop singer Sia.

«Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience. The artists I chose to work with added so many unique song layers to Bionic. My intention was to step into their world and what they do combined with my own vision and sound», claimed Christina Aguilera.

Speaking about the sound of the album, singer said that «anyone will expect» it. «I was able to explore and create a fresh feel using both electronic and organic elements», explained she.

Christina Aguilera’s previous album Back To Basics was released in 2006.
