Chris Martin does not want to start solo career

Coldplay singer Chris Martin claimed that he does not think about starting solo career or even making one record without his bandmates. Singer said he is sure that he would never achieve anything on his own, and Coldplay's success is based on the joint efforts of its members.

Talking about going solo, he said: "I'd just be terrible. I don't think I could even get a gig in Butlins – and I've been to Butlins. I think me and my keyboard would be outside on the streets most days".

Chris Martin also thanked his partners for not being jealous about media attention he gets: "They're very good friends to me because they know that, as the singer, and especially because I'm married to Gwyneth Paltrow, I get eight times as much media as them. They know how much I need them, I just couldn't do it on my own".

Recently Chris Martin claimed that he and his bandmates feel very tired and exhausted after recording their new album Mylo Xyloto. According to Martin, they are not sure if they can make another effort in future.

"This could be our last album. It's the distillation of three years' work and right now I can't imagine where another one would come from. Now we have Justin Bieber and Adele to compete with and they're a lot younger. We have to have the energy to put as much effort into our work as they do", claimed he.
